The Department of Education announces the publication of the updated version for Self-evaluation Checklist of Schools Accreditation standards, the new version includes details of each clause of the standards, Questions to Consider, and the Evidence required for each clause of the standard which help institutions wishing to apply for accreditation to be aware of the requirements that need to be implemented.

The Standards of Accreditation of schools consists of a series of standards and modules that serve as indicators of educational excellence in the programs and services provided by our members, to become accredited, or have its accreditation renewed, by the American Accreditation Association, a school must demonstrate that it meets the following Standards for Accreditation:

Standard 1: Mission and Goals

Standard 2: Governance

Standard 3: Administration and Organization

Standard 4: Human Resources

Standard 5: Student Achievement

Standard 6: Student Support

Standard 7: Education Program

Standard 8: Information Resources

Standard 9: Facilities and Infrastructure

Standard 10: Financial resources and Institutional Integrity
