Becoming a Healthcare Accreditation Surveyor for AAA provides a unique and rewarding opportunity for healthcare professionals to expand their skills and enhance their career alongside their current role on a third-party sub-contract basis.
Full training is provided in the accreditation standards for healthcare facilities.

Surveyors Categories
- General surveyor: usually physician specialized in conducting surveys and assessments focused on patient-centered care standards.
- Administrative: surveyors from different backgrounds specialized in conducting surveys and assessments focused on organization-centered care standards.
- Safety: surveyor with relevant qualifications and skills (usually with engineering background)
- Infection prevention & control surveyor: surveyor with relevant qualifications and skills (usually with nursing background)
- Radiology: surveyor with relevant qualifications and skills (usually specialized physician with required qualifications and skills in area of radiology)
- Psychiatry: surveyor with relevant qualifications and skills (usually specialized physician with required qualifications and skills in area of psychiatry)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct accreditation surveys both onsite and remote via web-based meeting platforms
- Cover surveys last minute for absent surveyors
- Generate survey reports for issuance to organizations
- Foster organizational excellence to ensure long-term success
- Engage, collaborate, and educate organizations on standards and recommended practices
- Provide support to organizations in understanding and preparing responses to survey reports
- Direct and ensure Surveyor education including compliance training
- Comply with the survey tools and forms of AAA.
- Other duties as assigned according to type of survey conducted.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and qualifications:
- Possess a minimum of a university degree in the relevant field (Higher qualification preferred).
• Hold a certificate in quality and accreditation programs.
Work History
- Expertise in healthcare operations
- Healthcare field for 5+ years with healthcare management and educator responsibilities
- Experience in the specialty of survey conducted and scope of practice provided by the surveyed organization.
- Experience quality assurance; familiarity with accreditation processes
- Preferably to have a certification from an internationally recognized survey training program
Technical Experience
- Comfortable scheduling and hosting via web-based meeting platforms
- Moderate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
